Serico Print Publication
When I had the chance to design my own publication I was ecstatic and knew immediately that I wanted to make a quarterly about one of my favorite hobbies: screen printing. Serico (Latin for "ink") soon took on a strong human narrative and evolved to cover a wide range of topics related to printmaking.
My role:
Page layout design
Content curation and image selection
Screen printed cover design + production
Screen printed inset design + production
Naturally, I had to screen print part of Serico and produced the cover and a poster insert using the printing technique. For the autumn issue, I was thrilled to use fluorescent orange as the spot color in my leafy, otherwise naturalistic prints.
